Your clock is almost certainly German, and from around the turn of the century. Look closely on the movement to see if there is a trade symbol. I think it maybe Junghans and if so there will be a Star symbol. Less likely are Lenzkirch (not all movements are marked) Winterhalder Hoffmeier (Look for W&H on the movement, or Hamburg American clock company with crossed arrows.

what they need to see is the mechanism inside to identify it. There should be a number stamped into the back, And possibly a "mark" on back.
