Info on model 308 Ridgeway Grandfather clock

I just bought a Ridgeway grandfather clock, used, and I would like to know more about it.


The warranty card was attached and says purchased in 1974.

This card was from Gravely Furniture store in Ridgeway, Va. serial # 8194

We're storing my mother in laws clock till she has a place to put it again. 13 years ago we had it for about a year for the same reason. We cleaned it up and it was working great. But now it's been broken for a while we were told. We think it was broken when they moved it from here to her new house. She's a smoker so this is the second time we've cleaned it up. My husband is working at fixing it. There's a broken suspention spring were ordering.
