Trend grandfather clock repair

I have my parents Trend grandfather clock. The clock was purchased 6-19-74.

The day after my father passed away in 1983 the clock stopped. I have had 3 repair experts come to my house to fix it over the years but all have no idea what the problem is.

I believe the paper label says it is model 83461MF. The movement is 96.

Can really use some guidence locating or learning what to do with this beutiful timepiece.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
