What info can i get with a serial number

I have just recently come into posession of a Zeeland grandfather clock serial #7913416. Unfortunetly no books or other info where can i get manuals or other important info.


Can anyone help me?

I found out the 77 in my serial number is the year it was made (1977) and the rest is the number made to date. The back of the clock has April 1977 stamped on it.

You can also download the instruction manual from Howard Miller clock company website. It is basic information but better than nothing.
